Felt like a child making my own paper which has pride of place in my art room. What a wonderful old paper mill, and indeed a working paper mill still at that. Fascinating watching the machines making the myriad of papers and listening and seeing lots of historical photos of the huge numbers of local people who were employed at this and 3/4 other local mills. Very professionally run and very enthusiastic staff who made this visit a joy for us.
