The vision behind the Paper Trail project is the creation of an activity based learning centre built around a real life working environment involving industrial, commercial, artistic, leisure and research activities. The core theme is sustainability, using paper and print media as the focal point.

The Paper Trail offers:

  • Education programmes for the local community, schools, colleges and universities
  • Professional training for and about the paper and print media industries

The Paper Trail has purpose built facilities for practical training in papermaking, a fully equipped digital training centre with 14 high-end computer workstations and a smartboard teaching aid plus 2 further classroom facilities for up to 70 students.

Our Schools’ Enterprise and Work Experience programmes offer a unique structured experience of the world of work in a real world setting for young people aged 14 to 19. More....
