Apsley is the southwest suburb of Hemel Hempstead in Hertfordshire. It is less than a mile from the A41, just 3 miles from the M25 (junction 20) and 5 miles from the M1 (junction 8).

Apsley station is on the main west coast rail line and is just a 1 minute walk from The Paper Trail's conferencing facilities at Apsley Mills Cottage and around 10 mins walk from Frogmore Paper Mill & Visitor Centre.

Frogmore Paper Mill & Visitor Centre

The Paper Trail's Frogmore Paper Mill & Visitor Centre is located just behind Apsley's London Road shopping centre, on Fourdrinier Way, off Durrant's Hill Road.

From the South
Approaching from the South along the A4251 from Kings Langley, drive past the Apsley Mills site, over the mini-roundabout, past the retail park on your right (Sainsbury's, Homebase etc) and through the traffic lights by Dunelm Mill. Durrant's Hill Road is the second right with The Bull pub on the corner. The visitor car park (a public pay & display car park) is on your left just past the traffic light controlled bridge. The entrance to Frogmore Paper Mill is on Fourdrinier Way - which from the car park is to the right (back over the river Gade) and first left. The main reception is accessed via the courtyard on the left roughly 100 metres along Fourdrinier Way.

Approaching from the North along the A4251 from the junction with the A414, Durrant's Hill Road is the first left after The Bull pub. The visitor car park is on your left just past the traffic lights controlling the bridge crossing. The entrance to Frogmore Mill is on Fourdrinier Way which is to the right (back over the river Gade) after crossing back over Durrant's Hill Road and then first left. The main reception is accessed via the courtyard on the left roughly 100 metres along Fourdrinier way.

Please note it is resident only parking at the front of Frogmore Mill, (we do have a couple of disabled parking spaces) so visitors need to use the public car park in Durrants Hill Road.

Apsley Mills Cottage and the John Dickinson Enterprise Centre

The Paper Trail's conference facilities together with the John Dickinson Enterprise Centre for start-up and micro-businesses are located on the Apsley Mills site, situated beside the A4251, London Road, running from the A41, Hemel Hempstead junction to Kings Langley and on to Junction 20 on the M25.
