Frogmore Mill Paper

In 1803 Frogmore was the world's first mechanised paper mill - and it is still making paper today.

In a world full of giant paper machines, the Frogmore machine is a minnow, and an aged one at that. It was first built in 1895 and installed at Frogmore, secondhand, in 1907. It is just 30 metres long and 1.8 metres wide and is powered by steam. Frogmore has specialised in making recycled paper for over 110 years.

Frogmore Mill papers are ‘Not run of the mill paper’ - everything we make is a bespoke quality product.
