Paper & Products

In 1803 Frogmore Paper Mill was the world's first mechanised paper mill - and it is still making paper today.

In a world full of giant paper machines, the Frogmore machine is a minnow, and an aged one at that. Now static, it was first built in 1895 and installed at Frogmore, secondhand, in 1907. It is just 30 metres long and 1.8 metres wide and was powered by steam. Frogmore specialised in making recycled paper for over 110 years.

The smaller half metre wide machine we have at Frogmore is often making paper. It is leased to specialist papermaker, Two Rivers Paper Company, which produces a wide selection of artists papers and inclusion papers. They also produce a beautiful range of hand made papers - for further details on Two Rivers paper products or order enquiries please contact Jim Patterson on 07818 435711. www.tworiverspaper.co.uk
