ADULT LEISURE COURSES 2013

BOOKBINDING WORKSHOP - NEW
When: Thursdays from 18 April 2013
Time: 10.00 to 1.00pm
Fee: £155 for 10 sessions or £15.50 per session
We run regular bookbinding courses throughout the year, where learners can work at their own pace and on their own projects. Help for beginners and with creative experiments. Booking is essential.

PAPERMAKING - NEW
When: Saturday 15 and Sunday 16 June 2013
Time: 10.00 to 3.00pm
Fee: £110 the weekend, £60 Saturday only
We offer intensive weekend papermaking courses, delivered by Two Rivers Paper. Participants will learn about the craft of fine art papermaking; the theory and the practise, making your own sheets to take away. All materials provided. The first day will provide you with all you need to know, the second will enable additional hands on experience and opportunity to experiment.

LETTERPRESS
When: Sunday 26th May 2013 - NEW
Time: 11.00 to 2.30pm
Fee: £45
A short introduction to letterpress, enabling participants to try their hand at setting metal type and printing using our collection of presses. Numbers are strictly limited on our letterpress courses but we will offer repeat runs.

USING COMPUTERS
When: Every Tuesday & Friday throughout the year
Time: 10.30 to 1.pm
Fee: FREE
Drop into our ukonline centre, suitable for complete beginners and those wanting more practice. Help with computer basics, CVs, jobhunting online, email & the internet.
No need to book, just come along and join in.

EUROPEAN COMPUTER DRIVING LICENCE (ECDL)
We are a registered centre for ECDL - contact us to ask about the next course. We can sometimes offer free ECDL training for unemployed people

ART COURSES - UNTUTORED

LIFE DRAWING
When: The first Saturday of every month (please check)
Fee: £15 per session
Untutored Life Drawing classes are held on the first Saturday of every month from 11.00am to 4.00pm in the Forum at Frogmore Mill. Materials are provided. Although there is no need to book, if you can call to let us know you would like to join in, we can then know numbers.

PORTRAIT DRAWING
When: Tuesdays - ongoing
Time: 7.00-9.30pm
Fee: £12.50 per session
Untutored Portrait drawing classes are held each Tuesday evening - sessions held in sets of 4 with the same model. This offers the opportunity to sketch, building towards final portrait. Contact for the start date of the next set.
